Africa
Savanna, laterite and lakes, baobabs and acacias, giraffes pacing the plains. Harmattan dust in the dry season, and ember storms when the drums fall out of step.
Every world keeps time with a drum, and the drums have drifted out of step.
Carry what needs carrying. Listen to everyone.
A young courier in an indigo batakari with a kente stole and a djembe on his back. Parcels by hover okada, passengers by trotro, songs by heart, and other worlds by spacecraft.
The firmament is restless. Ember storms fall where they never fell before, and the old couriers say the worlds' drums have drifted out of step. Couriers are the ones who still move between peoples, and moving between peoples is how the worlds get back in time.
In Télore you swing the djembe round and play: to call a festival round the fire, to jam in a studio, to make a wish on a shooting star. Try it here. Tap the skins, or use your keyboard.
Keys: J bass · K tone · L slap
Each world has its own gravity and a high firmament you can fall through for a while. Each also has its own peoples, vehicles, weather, animals and sound. Between them is vacuum.
Savanna, laterite and lakes, baobabs and acacias, giraffes pacing the plains. Harmattan dust in the dry season, and ember storms when the drums fall out of step.
Violet crystal ground with glowing veins, twisted spires and floating rocks under two coloured stars. Bell-shaped Zyrrians float about with rings for hands, and schools of flying fish swim through the air.
Walk far enough and the houses change, the clothes change and the greeting changes. Every house has a real doorway, and when the sirens sound, everyone takes shelter.
Thatched round houses round the fire. Home, the market stall and the festival.
Mud-brick houses bristling with palm-wood spikes, granaries on stone feet and a well.
Plastered loaf houses inside a thorn boma, open to the highland wind.
Painted houses in bold geometry, grass beehive homes and a stone kraal.

Every vehicle has a seat you climb into properly, hands on the grips and a step to get down. Every ship flies by the same book. On a premium kit, you can take your ride anywhere.

Boost, drift, flip. The courier's bike, with a basket for the parcel and a lean for every corner.

A hover trotro for ten. Ten stops ring the planet, and smooth driving earns tips. Pull up fast enough and it flies.

"No telephone to heaven." A yellow danfo for space: an open cockpit, twelve seats, a sliding door, and a conductor who never stops calling.

Go back and get it. Kente wings, the Sankofa bird on its tail, and the handling every other ship is tuned against.

Zyrr's ship drops in on Africa now and then and beams a curious visitor down to look round the village.

Stand on it, lean into the turns and slide across the crystal.

The story belongs to the world, not to one save. Everyone on a world shares the same chapter, the same season and the same storms. The world moves on when its people move it.
Every delivery, festival, studio session and storm survived adds to the planet's harmony. Fill it together and the season turns, a new region opens and the next chapter begins.
One performer at a time, everyone else listening. Songs that people play to the end become part of the world: locals hum them and festivals play them.
Order something from another world and whoever takes the job flies it to you. Ride the Danfo Star with real people. Storms become rescues.
Carry what needs carrying.
Listen to everyone.
